Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an Engineering professional with a Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum and Gas/Chemical background and 9+ years of relevant experience to supervise and optimise transmission operations across identified regions.

The role focuses on maintaining gas pressures, network strategies, SCADA-based valve control, and regulatory compliance, with responsibilities spanning planning, maintenance, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 9+ years of relevant experience in transmission operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise uninterrupted operation of the transmission system to deliver gas at identified pressures and volumes.
• Prepare gas pipeline operations and management plan ensuring integrity of gas supply in the transmission network.
• Formulate gas network strategies in line with operation & maintenance considerations.
• Prepare pressure profiling at stations/headquarters and maintain requested pressure by distribution.
• Ensure maintenance and calibration of instrumentation controlling the transmission network.
• Monitor delta differential pressure across filters and scrubbers; manage leakage surveys for maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Oversee installation and data fetching of flow computer data recorders; service and grease control valves/regulators.
• Supervise installation of SMS (Sales Meter Station) and regulation stations.
• Monitor remote actuated valves with SCADA and calibrate safety valves and pressure gauges.
• Oversee activities to minimize UFG through analysis and risk-aware strategies.
