Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited seeks an Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum and Gas/Chemical) with at least four years of relevant experience to lead gas distribution operations.

You will develop and implement O&M plans, conduct pressure profiling, and perform leakage surveys, while coordinating maintenance, risk management, and HSE compliance across key stations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, petroleum & gas, or chemical engineering with solid fundamentals.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant field experience in gas distribution/processing.
• Experience with O&M planning, risk assessment, and HSE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Gas Pipe Line O&M plan and implement it effectively.
• Conduct pressure profiling at key stations as part of routine work.
• Perform leakage surveys and oversee maintenance and rehabilitation after surveys.
• Maintain pressure in distribution networks and monitor delta P across filter separators and scrubbers.
• Install new SMS and regulate stations; service and grease control valves and regulators.
• Coordinate oil level checks and maintenance of auto actuated valves; calibrate safety valves and gauges.
• Repair and replace defective valves, controllers, and gauges; ensure timely replacement of filter elements.
• Ensure maintenance of instruments at SMS, Filter separators, MPL-I regulator sets and interconnections.
• Optimize budget usage and manage stores, supporting gas control for UFG analysis.
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks; develop and implement risk response strategies.
• Provide timely risk reporting information; perform HQ administration duties and minor repairs.

Job description

Engineering Graduate preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Petroleum and Gas / Chemical with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Gas Pipe Line O&M plan and implement it accordingly
• Conductpressure profiling on technically key station as routine work
• Conduct leakage survey of installation as per SOPs and its rectification and post leakage survey to carry out maintenance activities and rehabilitation
• Maintain requested pressure by distribution occasionally and monitor delta differential pressure across filter separators and scrubbers and controls
• Install new SMS and regulation station and ensure servicing & greasing of control valves and regulator.
• Arrange oil level checking and maintenance of auto actuated valves and calibration of safety valves, pressure gauges and pressure controller in MPL
• Repair & replace defective valves, control valves, pressure controller and gauges and arrange timely replacement of filter elements to quality gas to customer
• Ensure maintenance of control instruments at SMS, Filter separator, MPL-I regulator set up & inter connection valve
• Optimization use of budget and managing store items providing support to gas control in respect of UFG analysis
• Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
• Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
• Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
• Perform daily administration jobs related to HQs.
• Maintain HQ installations with regards minor repair and part job.
• Follow HSE procedures being HSE zonal team leader.
• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
