Job summary

SSGC LPG Limited is seeking an Assistant Engineer Technical Operations Audit to assist in carrying out the annual audit of Technical Operations, assess internal controls, identify ineffective practices, and propose improvements as per the approved audit plan.

The role requires a Mechanical engineering degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience and PEC registration. You will help in risk-based audit planning, audit universe development, and reporting to the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• PEC registration is mandatory for candidate eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineer – Technical Operations in preparation of technical section’s risk-based audit plan.
• Provide support in preparation of technical/operations section audit universe.
• Prepare presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports and projections.
• Assist the Manager in carrying out audit activities as per the audit plan.
• Coordinate with auditees to obtain required information.
• Maintain audit-related records and files.
• Ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework during duties.
• Adhere to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by senior management.

JOB SUMMARY

The main mandate of this position is to assist in carrying out annual audit of Technical Operations to check effectiveness of internal controls, identify ineffective practices, and recommend measures for improvements in policies and procedures as per the audit plan of SSGC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Senior Engineer – Technical Operations in preparation of technical section’s risk-based audit plan.
• Provide support in preparation of technical / operations section audit universe.
• Provide support in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports and projections.
• Assist the Manager in carrying out the audit activities as per the audit plan.
• Coordinate periodically with auditees to get required information as and when required.
• Maintain the audit related records and files.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by senior management.
