We are looking for a Business Development Manager with proven experience working with US clients in a client-facing role. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client requirements, collaborate directly with US clientele, and manage projects through to successful completion.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with US clients and prospects.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the US market.
Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn, and other channels.
Conduct client calls and meetings to understand business needs, requirements, and project scope.
Present company services and solutions to prospective clients.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations based on client requirements.
Manage and optimize the sales funnel, from lead generation and qualification to conversion and deal closure.
Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent movement of prospects through each stage.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close deals.
Act as the primary point of contact for US clients throughout the engagement.
Manage client relationships from initial contact through project completion.
Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
Track sales activities, client interactions, funnel performance, and conversion rates.
Stay updated on US market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
Additional experience in staffing, recruitment, or selling staffing/VA services will be a plus.
Requirements & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales, preferably with US clients.
Proven experience in client-facing roles with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong understanding of US market, B2B sales, lead generation, and client acquisition.
Experience managing the sales funnel, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
Strong skills in client presentations, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
Experience in staffing, recruitment, Virtual Assistant (VA) services, or staff augmentation.
Existing network or experience working with US-based businesses.
Experience with CRM and sales pipeline management.
Experience in upselling, cross-selling, and account growth.
