We are seeking a Business Development Executive to manage the Upwork pipeline end-to-end: identify high-quality opportunities, write tailored proposals, manage first-touch client communication, qualify leads, and hand qualified opportunities to the technical team. The role represents an established software agency working with clients across the UK, US, and EU. This is not a copy‑paste bidding role. The candidate will be expected to treat the pipeline as their own business and help grow profile strength on freelancing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the agency's Upwork profile day-to-day.
• Identify and filter strong .NET, full‑stack, and related opportunities.
• Write personalized, non‑template proposals tailored to each client.
• Manage connects budget and boosted proposal strategy.
• Handle first-touch client communication and qualify scope, budget, and fit.
• Book discovery calls and coordinate with the technical team on scoping and pricing.
• Maintain a clean CRM pipeline and report weekly on bids, replies, interviews, and closes.
• Follow up with prospects consistently and professionally.
• Help grow Job Success Score (JSS), Top Rated status, and overall profile strength.
• Explore additional B2B channels over time, including LinkedIn outreach, Clutch, and direct email.
