We are hiring an Associate Business Developer / Upwork Bidder to generate quality business opportunities through Upwork bidding, LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing, lead generation, proposal writing, and client communication. The ideal candidate will find relevant projects, write customized proposals, communicate with international clients, and support the business development process for IT/software services.
This role is suitable for candidates familiar with IT sales, software services, client acquisition, and online bidding platforms.
- Find and apply to relevant projects on Upwork
- Write customized, professional, and results-driven Upwork proposals
- Manage Upwork profile communication and client responses
- Generate leads through LinkedIn outreach and outbound emails
- Research potential clients and identify new business opportunities
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the internal team
- Maintain lead pipeline, follow-ups, and proposal status
- Track conversions and report daily and weekly business development activity
- Support project onboarding after successful client communication
- Build professional relationships with potential clients
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Upwork bidding, business development, or IT sales
- Strong experience in Upwork proposals and client communication
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and outreach
- Experience with cold emailing and outbound sales strategies
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
- Basic understanding of IT services such as websites, mobile apps, software, SaaS, AI, and digital solutions
- Ability to understand client requirements and write clear proposals
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and professional attitude
- Good follow-up, time management, and reporting skills
