National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi is seeking a Wing Head - Automation & MIS (VP/SVP) to lead the Automation and MIS agenda within the Credit Administration Division. The role focuses on designing and implementing automated workflows, dashboards, and data-driven MIS to strengthen risk management and process efficiency.

The position demands extensive banking experience, MIS prowess, and a proven ability to drive digital transformation across complex credit operations.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, of which 5 years in Credit Administration of Commercial Banking and/or Islamic Banking.
• Exposure in MIS and Process Automation will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of database management and reporting tools.
• Proficient in data analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of business process automation and workflow management.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities for automation, digitization and system-based process improvements across CAD to reduce manual intervention, errors, turnaround time and risks.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive automation and MIS strategy for the Credit Administration Division in line with the bank's transformation objectives.
• Lead design, development, implementation and enhancement of automated workflows, dashboards and digital solutions for credit administration activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews of CAD systems, applications and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies and control weaknesses and propose solutions.
• Establish and maintain MIS and reporting framework for CAD for timely, accurate information.
• Coordinate with Credit & Risk Management, Business Groups, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit and Tech teams for initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into functional system/workflow designs and coordinate with IT teams/vendors.
• Analyze system-generated reports to identify data discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead, develop and mentor the Automation & MIS team and build capabilities in data analytics and automation.
