Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Supply Planner to join our team in Karachi. You will create replenishment plans, participate in S&OP, forecast adjustments, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining target inventory levels.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/SCM/Math/Economics and has 1–3 years in demand or supply planning with advanced Excel and SQL skills; strong analytical and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces/e-commerce is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and SQL knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Autonomy in a demanding environment with organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create daily/weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Calculate a proper supply plan based on generated demand forecast.
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy DC/store inventory based on target days cover, availability, and shrinkage targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery alignments and drive fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate to ensure availability.
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag for action; identify no-movement SKUs for >28 days.
• Work cross-functionally on projects, drive action, or resolve issues.

Job Description

• Create daily/weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings & make forecast adjustments accordingly
• Calculate a proper supply plan based on generated demand forecast
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals
• Maintain healthy inventory in DC and store based on target days cover, availability targets & shrinkage targets
• Closely work with commercial team to drive adjustments on forecast plan
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery alignments & drive fulfillment performance
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate as necessary to ensure availability
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag to stakeholders to drive action
• Identify SKUs with inventory with no-movement for the past 28 days
• Be able to work cross-functionally to assist in projects, drive action, or resolve issues
• Other tasks that may be relevant to the function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or any relatable specialization.
• Between 1 to 3 years work-related experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings. Must be extremely detail oriented
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Has a continuous improvement mindset.
