Job summary

Zong 5G seeks an experienced Network Operations professional to oversee PS Core network operations, including ATCA/Cloud/SPC environments and data services across 2G/3G/4G/5G. You will ensure high availability, manage KPI thresholds, and coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements.

With 6+ years in the field and at least 1 year of team leadership, you will drive root-cause analysis, data governance, and seamless integration of new nodes per marketing/O&M requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in the relevant telecom field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall PS Core network operations including 2G/3G/4G/5G data services.
• Ensure 99.999% network availability and KPI targets.
• Coordinate vendors for hardware replacements and field escalations.
• Maintain PS Core domain data, documentation and help files.
• Implement automated procedures to optimize daily tasks.

Job description

To manage the overall operations of PS Core network including huawei PS Core (ATCA /Cloud /SPC) including services; Data services 2G/3G/4G/5G, Policy control and effective management, Vo Wifi Services, CDN Network Management & DNS integration and operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure availability of the network resources as it should be maintained at 99.999 % at all times.
• The network comprises of SCP / VAS and Packet Core Domain.
• Maintaining and resolution of identified issues
• To ensure that system KPIs are above threshold and to find the root cause of degraded area and ensure the implementation of the solutions which can improve KPIs as per own experience or vendor suggestion.
• Network data management to keep record of updated VAS / PS network data and relative documentation including help files, KPI data, supporting software etc.
• Integration of New nodes Coordination with the relevant teams to implement the new changes in the network comprising of new nodes as per marketing requirement or the expansion of the network as per O & M requirement.
• Complete HAT / PAT and service testing before commissioning.
• To co-ordinate with multiple vendors for emergency situation handling / Replacement of faulty hardware.
• To ensure that any up gradation, patch implementation should not have an adverse impact on the current network.
• Definition and implementation of automated procedures or processes to optimize the daily routines / tasks in order to get a better output in minimal time used.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• in principle to have a minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science) or other relevant degree.

Work Experience:

• Should have preferably 6+ Years of experience in relevant field plus 1-year minimum experience in managing team.

• Developed expertise over miscellaneous PS Core system used in CMPAK including, Packet Core, CDN, DNS and PCRF domains

• Adequate knowledge related to the Datacom nodes like router/switches / firewalls.
