Job summary

Zameen Media Pvt. Ltd. in Lahore, Pakistan seeks an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and secure our Windows Server and virtualization estate.

You will lead a team of IT professionals, coordinate with network and security groups, and drive infrastructure projects to ensure high availability. The role requires 4–6 years of IT experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server infra incl. AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File/Print.
• Administer Microsoft 365/Azure AD, licenses and security policies.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and VMs.
• Monitor system performance and server health.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage NAS/SAN storage, quotas and access permissions.
• Manage Windows endpoints, deployments and policies.
• Ensure endpoint security and hardening.
• Coordinate with network, security, and vendors for infra issues.
• Plan server migrations and infrastructure deployments.
• Lead System Admins and IT Support staff.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File/Print Services, and server roles.
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), user accounts, licenses, security policies, and access permissions.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and virtual machine environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, CPU, RAM, storage, and server health.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain server backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage NAS/SAN storage, file shares, permissions, quotas, and storage capacity.
• Manage Windows 10/11 endpoints, software deployment, updates, and Group Policy configurations.
• Manage endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, security policies, and system hardening.
• Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, authentication, and user-access issues.
• Monitor IT infrastructure using ManageEngine, PRTG, SNMP, or other NMS tools.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, ISP, and vendor teams for infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage IT assets, licenses, warranties, and hardware/software inventory.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, network/server diagrams, configurations, and operational records.
• Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, infrastructure deployments, and technology projects.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, security, and business continuity.
• Prepare system health reports, incident reports, capacity reports, and management updates.
• Lead and supervise System Administrators, IT Support Engineers, and technical resources.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
• Participate in DR drills, backup testing, vulnerability remediation, and business continuity planning.
• SIP Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain SIP Trunks, SIP proxies, gateways, and session border controllers (SBCs).
• PBX Administration: Oversee daily operations, extensions, call queues, IVR routing, and dial plans on Grandstream UCM and Elastix (Asterisk-based) PBX systems.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• 4-6 years of experience and 2–3 years in a Senior System Administrator, Team Lead, or supervisory role is a plus point.
