Job summary

Zameen Group in Lahore is seeking a Senior System Administrator to manage Windows Server, AD, VMware, and cloud identities. You will ensure security, backups, and DR readiness while coordinating with network and security teams. The role emphasizes leadership of IT staff and ongoing system hardening.

You will also oversee SIP infrastructure and PBX systems, ensuring reliable communications and efficient IT operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Administer Microsoft 365/Azure AD, user accounts, licenses, and security policies.
• Oversee VMware ESXi/vCenter environments and related HA/DR features.
• Monitor performance, availability, and health of servers and storage.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage NAS/SAN storage, shares, permissions, and quotas.
• Handle Windows endpoints deployment, updates, and GP configurations.
• Monitor endpoint security, EDR and system hardening.
• Troubleshoot server, OS, app, auth, and user access issues.
• Coordinate with network, security, and vendor teams for infra issues.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and logs.
• Plan migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure deployments.
• Lead System Administrators and IT support staff.
• Participate in DR drills, vulnerability remediation, and BC planning.
• SIP Infrastructure management: trunks, proxies, gateways, SBCs.
• PBX administration: operations on Grandstream UCM and Elastix.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File/Print Services, and server roles.
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), user accounts, licenses, security policies, and access permissions.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and virtual machine environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, CPU, RAM, storage, and server health.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain server backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage NAS/SAN storage, file shares, permissions, quotas, and storage capacity.
• Manage Windows 10/11 endpoints, software deployment, updates, and Group Policy configurations.
• Manage endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, security policies, and system hardening.
• Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, authentication, and user-access issues.
• Monitor IT infrastructure using ManageEngine, PRTG, SNMP, or other NMS tools.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, ISP, and vendor teams for infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage IT assets, licenses, warranties, and hardware/software inventory.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, network/server diagrams, configurations, and operational records.
• Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, infrastructure deployments, and technology projects.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, security, and business continuity.
• Prepare system health reports, incident reports, capacity reports, and management updates.
• Lead and supervise System Administrators, IT Support Engineers, and technical resources.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
• Participate in DR drills, backup testing, vulnerability remediation, and business continuity planning.
• SIP Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain SIP Trunks, SIP proxies, gateways, and session border controllers (SBCs).
• PBX Administration: Oversee daily operations, extensions, call queues, IVR routing, and dial plans on Grandstream UCM and Elastix (Asterisk-based) PBX systems.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• 4-6 years of experience and 2-3 years in a Senior System Administrator, Team Lead, or supervisory role is a plus point.
