Job summary

Premier Housewares in Lahore seeks an experienced IT Manager with 3+ years of hands-on expertise in SAP Business One (SAP B1) and server management. The ideal candidate is SAP certified and will oversee IT infrastructure, backups, and day-to-day IT operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, vendor management, and the ability to work independently to sustain system availability and security across the organization. Monday-Friday work with on-site office in Lahore.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager with at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in SAP Business One (SAP B1) and server management. The ideal candidate should be SAP certified and have strong practical experience managing SAP B1, IT infrastructure, servers, backups, and IT support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s SAP Business One (SAP B1) system.
• Monitor and manage servers, network infrastructure, storage, and IT systems.
• Ensure regular data and server backups are performed, properly stored, and periodically tested for restoration.
• Maintain backup schedules and ensure backup integrity and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP B1, server, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and IT security.
• Provide technical support to employees and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
• Manage and monitor IT support requests through Freshdesk.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, configurations, backups, and procedures.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors, software providers, and service partners when required.
• Ensure system availability, security, and business continuity.
• Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential IT issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT management/support.
• SAP Certified professional with strong hands-on experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Good knowledge of server management and administration.
• Strong understanding of backup and restore procedures, including backup storage and recovery.
• Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar IT helpdesk/ticketing systems.
• Good understanding of networking, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage IT vendors and external service providers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle IT issues on a priority basis.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing SAP B1 databases and related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
• Experience with Windows Server and networking environments.
• Relevant IT degree/diploma or professional certifications.

Key Requirement
