Job summary

Jacquard Clothing is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to assist the IT Manager in daily operations in Lahore. You will support hardware, software, network systems, ERP, POS, CCTV, and telecom infrastructure while coordinating with vendors and maintaining security and backups.

The role requires hands-on IT support, system monitoring, and documentation, with a focus on reliable performance and IT process improvements aligned to company goals. On-site in Lahore, full-time.

Qualifications

• Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Set up and configure user accounts, email, and IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Monitor and maintain computer networks, servers, and related systems.
• Perform daily backup support for servers and ensure data recovery readiness.
• Support and manage JC/Shams systems, POS, and ERP software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV cameras and recording systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot the telephone exchange system.
• Ensure network security, data protection, and system updates.
• Maintain IT inventory records (hardware, software, licenses).
• Visit markets/vendors for repair, maintenance, and purchase of IT equipment.
• Ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of IT assets and services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and basic server administration.
• Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and CCTV).
• Understanding of information security practices, user access management, and data backup/recovery procedures.
• Ability to support business applications and ERP systems, including user training and issue resolution.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear technical support to non-technical team members.
• Good organizational and documentation skills, including incident tracking and asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior experience in an IT support or assistant IT management role; experience in retail or textile manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lahore and respond to urgent IT issues as needed.
