Job summary

Disrupt.com is seeking an Art Director with expert‑level UX and UI craft to set the visual direction for the group and its ventures. You will produce production‑quality work in Figma, build system‑level design libraries, and partner with product managers, engineers and founders through build and launch.

You will own campaigns, identity systems, and venture brand building, ensuring consistency across web, interfaces and marketing assets while mentoring teams and working with freelancers as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of art direction or senior design experience, gained in a startup, in-house product team or agency.
• Expert‑level UX and UI knowledge, demonstrated by interfaces that shipped and are in use.
• Mastery of Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, variables and prototyping.
• Experience building or owning a design system used by designers and engineers.
• A portfolio showing both brand/campaign work and product usability.
• Brand identity built from scratch, applied across product, web and campaigns.
• Comfortable with responsive design across web, iOS and Android conventions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Visual System: define and maintain the visual language for Disrupt.com and ventures.
• Lead Expert UX: drive user flows, IA, wireframes and prototypes with real user validation.
• Execute UI to production standard: high‑fidelity interfaces in Figma with responsive behavior.
• Build Design Systems: develop components, tokens and documentation for scale.
• Direct campaigns: shape creative direction for digital, social, video and events.
• Collaborate with pairs: work with the Senior Copywriter to align visual and copy ideas.
