Job summary

Disrupt seeks a Senior Animator/Motion Designer to move ideas into engaging visuals. You will own end-to-end animation—from concept and motion design to editing and final polish—across multiple startups and campaigns.

You’ll collaborate with the Creative Manager/Director to shape the animation language of venture launches and brand stories. You’ll use After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and AI tools to accelerate creativity, while pushing visuals from concept through to final polish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in animation, motion design, or creative production.
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling, timing, and polish.
• Expertise in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D integration (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.).
• Knowledge of AI creative tools (Runway, Midjourney, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Animate and design motion across startups and campaign launches at Disrupt Labs.
• Create high quality 2D explainers, walkthroughs, launch films, ads, and social content.
• Bring concepts to life with expressive, emotional movement.
• Edit, composite, and polish sequences using After Effects, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Collaborate with Creative Manager/Director, designers, and copywriters to tell stories.
• Utilize AI tools to speed up and enhance creativity.
• Develop motion templates, style guides, and systems for consistent visuals.
• Integrate 3D elements using Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Stay current on motion design trends in tech and brand storytelling.
• Bonus: storyboard ideas and asset design to support narratives.
