Role Description

The Analyzer Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pakistan. This role involves overseeing the selection, installation, calibration, and maintenance of process analyzers and related instrumentation in industrial environments. The Analyzer Engineer will perform routine diagnostics, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure accurate and reliable measurement data for plant operations. Daily tasks include collaborating with operations and maintenance teams, preparing technical documentation and reports, and supporting compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also includes optimizing analyzer performance, contributing to project planning and commissioning activities, and providing technical guidance to colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Design, install, and commission gas sampling systems, including gas analyzers, natural gas chromatographs NGCs, and process gas chromatographs PGCs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and reliable gas measurement and analysis.
• Troubleshoot and maintain gas chromatographs and related equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for gas analyzers and chromatographs.
• Perform periodic calibration and validation of analytical instruments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in gas analysis technology.
• Provide technical support to field teams during system installation and startup.
• Train junior technicians and engineers on gas analyzer systems and best practices.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all activities.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to company objectives.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Gas analyzers and gas chromatographs.
• Analytical system integration including shelters and sample conditioning systems.
• Working knowledge of codes / standards: NEC, NFPA, IEC, API
• Knowledge of analyzers including: GC’s, TDL, NIR, CEMS, Physical properties RVP, Sp.Gr.,Density, Cloud, Flash, Boiling Pt., Continuous UV/IR, BTU, Moisture, Total Sulfur, Water Quality TOC, pH, Conductivity, DO.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing gas sampling systems.
• Strong knowledge of NGCs, PGCs, and other analytical measurement instruments.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster innovation in engineering practices.

Requirements:

Education: DAE/

Bachelor’s in engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Instrument.
