• PEC registration preferable.
• 4–6 years in industrial/commercial energy auditing or energy management.
• Experience leading audits and client reporting.
• Experience with power quality audits and ISO/ASHRAE frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed energy audits (ISO 50002 / ASHRAE Level II-III) for industrial and commercial clients.
• Perform electrical network and power quality audits and recommend corrective measures.
• Assess thermal and utility systems and identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop M&V plans in line with IPMVP; support ISO 50001 energy management implementations.
• Review and approve technical reports; build savings and investment cases for clients.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers; ensure HSE compliance on site.
• Support business development with technical proposals, scoping and costing.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Energy Engineering; Master’s in Energy Systems, Power or a related field preferred. PEC registration preferable.
• Experience: 4-6 years in industrial and commercial energy auditing or energy management, including electrical network and power quality audits, with a track record of leading audits and client reporting.
• Technical Tools: Power quality analyzers (e.g., Fluke series), thermography, flue gas and combustion analyzers, ultrasonic flow meters, compressed air leak detectors and data loggers; advanced Excel for savings and financial modeling; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Certifications (preferred): CEM/CEA (AEE), CMVP, or ISO 50001 Lead Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed energy audits (ISO 50002 / ASHRAE Level II-III) for industrial and commercial clients - scoping, site measurement, analysis and final reporting.
• Perform electrical network and power quality audits and recommend corrective measures (power factor correction, harmonic mitigation, load management).
• Assess thermal and utility systems - boilers, steam, furnaces, HVAC and chillers, compressed air, pumps and motors - and identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop measurement & verification (M&V) plans in line with IPMVP, and support clients in implementing ISO 50001 energy management systems.
• Review and approve technical reports; build savings and investment cases (payback, IRR) for client decision-makers.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers, ensuring quality, consistency and HSE compliance on site.
• Support Business Development with technical proposals, scoping and costing.

Ideal candidates combine deep technical expertise with strong project management and client-facing skills – able to present findings confidently to plant management and C-suite audiences, manage multiple audits to deadline, and uphold SGS’s standards of quality, integrity and safety.
