Job summary

Teknosys in Islamabad is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to ensure stability, availability and performance of business-critical systems. You will troubleshoot incidents, resolve issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain 24/7 production support and meet SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in application support, technical support, or system administration.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of incident management, SLAs, and ITIL frameworks.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 technical support for enterprise systems and customer-facing applications.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application, hardware, and infrastructure-related issues.
Monitor production environments, respond to alerts, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
Escalate critical issues while maintaining end-to-end ownership of incidents.
Collaborate with development, networking, and system administration teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
