Techsurge Private Limited in Karachi seeks an experienced IT Operations professional to manage and support job schedulers, BAU activities, and managed file transfer tools. The role emphasizes automation of datacenter operations and robust incident handling.

You will ensure high availability, participate in business continuity testing, and coordinate across infrastructure and application owners to deploy changes and resolve issues on a 24x7 rotation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in datacenter operations and deployment.
• Experience with workload automation and scheduler tools (Automic).
• Experience with managed file transfer tools (GoAnywhere, Connect:Direct).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Job Schedulers Administration and BAU activities.
• Manage and support Managed File Transfer Tools Administration and BAU activities.
• Automate Datacenter Operations activities.
• Provide prompt reporting of production issues with impact analysis and rectification.
• Ensure High Availability of supporting applications across primary/secondary sites.
• Support business continuity testing across the bank.
• Track DC operations service tickets and monitor batches as per SOPs.
• Escalate and record system, application, and batch problems; liaise with bank teams 24x7.
• Deploy approved changes on various infrastructure platforms.
