Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Workplace Safety Officer (SO3) to implement and monitor safety programs, conduct inspections and risk assessments, and lead incident investigations. The role requires a DOLE-accredited SO3 and 5–6 years of safety experience, with strong knowledge of Philippine OSH laws and DOLE regulations.

You will coordinate training and prepare regular safety reports for management. The candidate will liaise with building management, contractors, and staff to ensure legal compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, OSH, Environmental Science or related field.
• Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer 3 (SO3) or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of relevant workplace safety experience.
• Knowledge of Philippine OSH laws and DOLE regulations.
• Experience in safety training, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety policies, programs and procedures.
• Coordinate safety training programs and committee activities.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE regs and RA 11058 / DOLE Order 198-18.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incidents investigations.
• Maintain safety records, reports and documentation for audits.
• Provide safety guidance to employees, supervisors and management.
• Assist in emergency preparedness, evacuations and safety drills.
