Job summary

Esapphire Combined Facilities Support Services is seeking a qualified Safety Officer 3 (SO3) to oversee and elevate occupational safety programs across our operations in the Philippines. You will analyze risks, develop site-specific policies, and lead incident investigations to foster a proactive safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in OSH management, and completion of the 40-hour Basic OSH Course plus 48 hours of advanced training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Occupational Safety and Health management in industrial or heavy construction.
• Completed 40-hour Basic OSH Course (BOSH for general industries or COSH for construction).
• Completed an additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized OSH training.
• DOLE Accreditation as OSH Practitioner is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OSH programs tailored to operations and local labor standards.
• Conduct HIRAC to identify risks and implement controls.
• Lead safety audits of facilities, equipment, ventilation, and fire systems.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; draft root-cause reports and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (DOLE OSH) and submit statutory reports.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and emergency response simulations.
• Develop and test workplace emergencyResponse and disaster management plans.
