Job summary

Our Clients in the Philippines seeks an experienced Occupational Health & Safety Specialist (SO3) to oversee and implement OHS programs within a corporate environment. The role ensures compliance with OSH regulations, conducts inspections and risk assessments, investigates incidents, and promotes a safe and healthy workplace.

Responsibilities include coordinating OSH training, maintaining documentation, and supporting regulatory activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer SO3 or equivalent is required.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in OHS, EHS, HSE, or related field.
• Experience in corporate or multinational environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and regulations.
• Working knowledge of RA 11058 and DOLE Department Order No. 198-18.
• Experience in safety inspection, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor OHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Support OHS Committee and maintain documentation, minutes, and reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate OSH training for employees and management.
• Ensure compliance with RA 11058, DOLE Order 198-18, and other OSH regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments; identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions from inspections and investigations.
• Maintain accurate safety records and coordinate drills and government inspections.
