AmSpec Testing Services Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Workday Functional Consultant to configure and support Core HCM with exposure to Benefits, Talent, and Absence.

You will partner with senior consultants and HR stakeholders to resolve tickets, run tests, and build reports to support release readiness. The role requires at least 2 years of Workday experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work onsite in Paranaque City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday functional experience.
• Core HCM expertise; exposure to Benefits/Talent/Absence a plus.
• Experience with EIBs and release testing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute test scripts for semi-annual releases and changes.

Brief Summary:

The Workday Functional Consultant supports the configuration, testing, and day-to-day operation of Workday HR modules, with a primary focus on Core HCM and exposure to Benefits, Talent, and related modules. The role works closely with senior consultants and HR stakeholders to resolve tickets, execute small enhancements, build reports, and support release testing — building the foundation for a long-term career in HR technology.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Workday HR modules (Core HCM, with exposure to Benefits, Talent, and Absence) under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Resolve Tier-2 production tickets within agreed SLAs, including business process corrections, security access requests, and data fixes.
• Execute test scripts for Workday semi-annual releases and project-driven changes; log and triage defects.
• Build and maintain standard and advanced Workday reports and calculated fields to support recurring HR reporting needs.
• Perform routine data audits and mass data loads using EIBs; ensure data integrity across the HR system.
• Document configuration decisions, business processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with HR operations and payroll teams to understand requirements and translate them into Workday tasks.
• Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality, data privacy, and handling of employee personal data.
• Participate in project work as assigned, contributing to discovery, configuration, and testing workstreams.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Workday functional experience, with working knowledge of Core HCM; exposure to Benefits, Talent, or Absence is a plus.
• Understanding of Workday business process framework, security basics, and report writing.
• Experience executing EIBs and supporting Workday release testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to data and configuration changes.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams); familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira) is an advantage.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly, professionally, and with good judgment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Willingness to work onsite in Paranaque City and accommodate occasional overlap with global stakeholders across time zones.
