Job summary

AboitizPower in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, is seeking a Plant Engineer - Wind to oversee technical operations, maintenance, and reliability for wind turbine generators and BOP systems. You will provide engineering support, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Power Plant.
• Licensed engineer required.
• Training in wind turbine systems (OEM certs, HV switching, GWO).
• Experience leading troubleshooting activities with OEMs/contractors.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HV/MV substations, protection systems, PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of WTGs, substations, and BOP equipment.
• Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Review maintenance plans, checklists, and service procedures.
• Support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance actions.
• Coordinate with contractors and OEMs to ensure safe, reliable operations.
