Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Plant Technician - Wind in Libmanan, Camarines Sur to support safe, reliable operation of wind turbines and BOP systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with the Plant Engineer and Plant Supervisor, accompany external contractors, and uphold EHS standards and RA 7920. Fresh graduates with strong technical background are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Practitioner preferred but not mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in Power Plant or fresh graduates with strong technical background.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems, SCADA, PLCs, and industrial maintenance is desirable.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, substations, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Perform inspections (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) per OEM and company standards.
• Support troubleshooting of WTG faults with OEM contractors.
• Assist blade inspections, oil changes, borescope checks, and component replacements.
• Accompany contractors during troubleshooting and ensure safety compliance.
