  • Manage, plan, recommend, monitor, and control wind measurement campaigns and systems, ensuring IEC compliance and/or good industry practice.
  • Perform wind flow modeling, recommend adequate wind flow modeling techniques, and review wind flow model outputs.
  • Undertake energy and uncertainty production assessments for different layouts and turbine configurations, which might include site visits, wind and production data processing and quality checking, correlation analysis, wind flow and wake modelling, review of energy losses, statistical analysis, and reporting.
  • Undertaking site condition assessments for different turbine types which include elements above but also a review of extreme wind speed, ambient and wake induced turbulence intensity, wind shear and temperature range.
  • Review and evaluate wind turbine models and suppliers and recommend optimal design/layout configurations aiming to minimize LCOE.
  • Support technical, land acquisition and permitting teams and workstreams by providing analyses and producing detailed reports which review the feasibility of sites for development, including feasibility studies, layout optimization / micro siting, site meteorological measurements, shadow flicker assessment, noise modelling and visual impact assessment.
