Job summary

Vena Group is seeking a seasoned professional in Quezon, Philippines to lead the execution of wind projects. Responsibilities include managing technical documents, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.

Job description

  • Represent the company at site and lead the full execution of the wind project in alignment with scope, budget, schedule, HSSE and quality expectations.
  • Review and comment on contractor technical documents to ensure completeness, contractual compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical and engineering support throughout design, construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • Review technical drawings, engineering documentation, method statements, and performance test procedures; participate in design review meetings with contractors.
  • Participate in tendering and contracting processes, including evaluation of proposals and involvement in appointing the Owner’s Engineer (OE).
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the detailed project schedule across civil works, WTG installation, electrical systems, and balance of plant activities. ‑of‑plant activities.
  • Oversee the execution of all project contracts, including OE, EPC, BoP, WTG suppliers, logistics, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with internal development, Land Acquisition, Admin, Technical, HSSE, and operations teams for alignment across project phases.
  • Identify and mitigate construction, technical, commercial, and HSSE risks through proactive risk management strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental permits, statutory regulations, and company HSSE standards during all site activities.
  • Manage all technical and operational interfaces between BoP contractors, WTG suppliers, logistics providers, OE, and the operations team.
  • Implement and oversee quality management plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures across all work fronts.
  • Maintain complete project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, progress updates, technical logs, and risk registers.
  • Ensure project implementation aligns with company requirements; lead issue resolution and manage changes in coordination with OE and contractors.
  • Monitor and control project performance by tracking schedule, cost, progress, and milestones, and implementing corrective actions where deviations occur.
  • Lead contract close‑out activities with contractors, ensuring completion of deliverables, punch lists, inspections, and documentation.
  • Manage the project handover process to Operations, ensuring readiness, successful commissioning, and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Archive all project files and records for future operational, commercial, and audit needs.
