BruntWork is seeking an Email & SMS Marketing Specialist with strong Klaviyo expertise to own customer retention for an ecommerce client. You will plan, build, and optimize email and SMS flows, run campaigns, and analyze performance to drive revenue.

You will collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to refine segmentation, test subject lines, and improve deliverability, open rates, and conversions. This role supports a remote, full-time schedule with standard business hours.

Job Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce business looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Specialist proficient in Klaviyo to own their customer retention marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, designing, and optimizing the email and SMS marketing strategy. Working closely with marketing and eCommerce teams, you will manage all customer communication flows, promotional campaigns, segmentation, and performance reporting to build high-converting automated customer journeys that drive revenue.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM GMT, with a 1-hour unpaid break; Full-time, 40 work hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Email Marketing: Manage and optimize all Klaviyo email marketing activities; create, build, and maintain automated flows (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-Back, Customer Retention, and VIP/Loyalty); develop and execute weekly and monthly promotional campaigns; segment audiences to improve lifetime value; conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, offers, and send times; monitor deliverability and list health.
• SMS Marketing: Manage SMS marketing campaigns and automated flows; develop SMS customer journeys that complement email strategies; write engaging, conversion-focused SMS copy; ensure compliance with SMS marketing regulations and best practices.
• Design & Content Creation: Design visually appealing, mobile-first, and conversion-focused email templates and campaign creatives; align layouts with brand guidelines; coordinate with creative teams for imagery and promotional assets.
• Reporting & Optimization: Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights; track key metrics (revenue attribution, open rates, CTR, conversion rates, subscriber growth, and retention metrics); continuously refine campaigns through testing and data analysis.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience managing email marketing for eCommerce brands.
• Strong proficiency with Klaviyo and SMS marketing platforms.
• Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies.
• Ability to design professional, conversion-focused email campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Shopify stores.
• Experience with loyalty and subscription programs.
