Mandarin Oriental Manila is launching a Pastry Kitchen with a focus on wedding cakes and bespoke creations. You will transform concepts into elegant cakes that reflect each couple's vision while upholding the brand's high standards of quality and presentation.

You will collaborate with the Pastry and Events teams to craft centrepieces for weddings and celebrations, contributing to the pre-opening phase with creativity and leadership in pastry.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as Wedding Cake Artist, Cake Decorator, or Chef de Partie - Pastry in luxury settings.
• Strong portfolio of wedding and celebration cakes with intricate decorations.
• Knowledge of fondant, piping, sugar flowers, modelling and decorative finishing.

Aufgaben

• Design, prepare, assemble, and decorate bespoke wedding cakes to the highest standards.
• Create cake decorations using fondant, piping, sugar flowers, modelling and more.
• Collaborate with Executive Pasry Chef and Pastry leadership to develop cake concepts.
• Coordinate with Events and Banquet teams to meet timelines and requests.
• Maintain quality, texture, and presentation with attention to detail.
• Oversee cake prep, assembly, storage, transport, and setup.
