Internal Job Title: Web Content Executive
Location: 11th Floor, SM Aura Premier Office Tower, McKinley Parkway, Taguig City
Work Set-Up and Schedule: Onsite (Monday to Friday) and Mid Shift (4PM to 1AM Manila Time)
Position Summary
As a Web Content Executive, you will be responsible for managing, publishing, and optimizing website content across the company’s UK and Ireland digital properties. You will work closely with the Marketing and Digital Product teams to ensure content is accurately structured, optimized for search, properly published, and maintained across the websites.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and publish content from the Marketing team across the company’s UK and Ireland websites, ensuring content is correctly structured, formatted, and optimized before going live.
- Build and maintain website pages using a CMS, ensuring proper page structure, formatting, tagging, and metadata.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices, including title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, image alt text, and keyword alignment.
- Maintain the website content calendar in collaboration with the Marketing team, ensuring campaign and seasonal content is published on schedule.
- Monitor content performance using GA4 and Google Search Console, identifying underperforming pages and opportunities for optimization.
- Keep website content accurate and up to date by coordinating with Operations, Commercial, and Customer Service teams regarding changes to pricing, services, and products.
- Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, duplicated, or underperforming content and recommend appropriate updates.
- Work with the UX and CRO Manager to ensure landing pages are properly structured and optimized for conversion.
- Support A/B testing activities by preparing and publishing content variants and conducting quality assurance checks before tests go live.
- Support the rollout of new website pages, sections, and market expansions through structured publishing plans and thorough QA checks.
- Perform quality assurance before and after publication, checking for formatting issues, broken links, missing metadata, and consistency with website standards.
- Flag technical SEO issues that require support from the Development team.
- Work closely with Marketing and Digital Product teams, contributing to sprint planning and identifying content-related dependencies or blockers.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact between Marketing and Digital Product for website content publishing and maintenance.
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams when content requires review prior to publication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in web content, digital publishing, SEO, or a similar role with direct responsibility for managing and publishing content on a live website.
- Hands‑on experience using a CMS platform such as WordPress, Umbraco, Contentful, or similar systems, including page building, content structuring, and metadata management.
- Solid working knowledge of on-page SEO principles and experience applying them to live website content.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console for monitoring website and organic search performance.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage website content and publishing activities across multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and process-management skills, with the ability to manage publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Comfortable working onsite as part of a cross‑functional digital team and collaborating with Marketing, Digital Product, and other internal stakeholders.
- Good understanding of website content structure, formatting, and quality assurance processes.
- Basic understanding of HTML sufficient to identify and resolve common formatting issues within a CMS.
- Experience with content audits, content optimization, or website maintenance is an advantage.
- Exposure to CRO or A/B testing is an advantage.
- Experience managing content across multiple websites, regions, or markets is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush is an advantage.
- Experience working in a B2B or service-based business is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive, with a strong interest in improving website content and performance.
