Job summary

EXL Service Philippines, Inc. is seeking qualified medical coders to join its analytics and BPM team in Metro Manila. Review and code medical records to ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance.

We value licensed professionals with CPT/HCPCS/ICD/DRG experience, and candidates must hold PHRN and CPC licenses. Training and work-from setup available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Active PHRN License and CPC License.
• At least 2 years of medical coding experience and 2 years of clinical experience.
• Coders with CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and DRG certifications are welcome to apply.
• Complete government statutory numbers (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and TIN) for onboarding

Responsibilities

• Review and validate medical records and bills for accuracy, compliance, and appropriate reimbursement.
• Analyze medical documentation for accepted and compensable injuries using standard medical practices and utilization guidelines.
• Audit medical claims and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality of care.
• Negotiate provider fees and utilize pricing resources to support cost-effective claim resolution.
• Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for medical bill payments with proper clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality claim reviews
