Job summary

Cotiviti Philippines Inc invites qualified nurses to join our Manila team as a healthcare coder. The role focuses on inpatient coding, DRG auditing, and compliance with CMS/Medicaid policies in a US healthcare environment. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, and onsite work is required.

Ideal candidates hold CIC or CCS credentials and have 1–2 years of coding experience, with proficiency in MS Office tools. Office location is Manila, Pasig.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with CIC or CCS certification.
• 1–2 years inpatient coding experience, preferably with DRG auditing exposure.
• Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and CMS/Medicaid regulations including ICD-10 CM & DRG.
• Good written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and efficient.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered nurse with CIC or CCS certification
• At least 1–2 years of inpatient coding experience, preferably with exposure to DRG auditing or validation
• Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations strongly preferred
• Possesses knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and processing specifically, CMS, Medicaid regulations, ICD-10 CM & DRG Expert, etc
• Has general knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, illnesses, and
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy and efficiency
• Has excellent personal computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Must be willing to work onsite
