Job summary

Sigma-Aldrich Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on logistics professional to manage electronics supply chain operations, oversee third-party warehouse activities, and ensure compliant cross-border shipments between Singapore and Malaysia. You will handle import/export documentation with precision and conduct daily equipment inspections to support site safety and quality audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in chemical or specialty gases environments.
• Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers, transport vendors and on-site contractors.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe work procedures in chemical/industrial settings.
• Valid forklift license and familiarity with emergency response procedures are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in handling shipping documentation, import/export records, and invoicing.

Your Role

In this role, you are at the heart of our Electronics supply chain operations in Singapore, ensuring that the safe and compliant movement of specialty chemicals and gases runs seamlessly from receipt to delivery. You will oversee third-party warehouse operations, coordinate cross-border shipments between Singapore and Malaysia, and manage import and export documentation with precision. You will conduct daily equipment inspections, support quality audit activitiesto ensure full adherence to site safety and work procedures. Working closely with commercial, customer service, andlogisticspartners, you will help ensure that every warehouse and delivery requirement is met on time and to the highest standard.

Who You Are

• Prior experience in material handling, warehouseorlogisticsoperations ideally involving chemicals or specialty gasesenvironments is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with third-partylogisticsproviders, transport vendors, and on-site contractors
• Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and the ability to apply safe work procedures in a chemical or industrial environment
