Job summary

DHL Philippines is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee an operational team, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to service level agreements with key customers. You will manage daily activities across inbound/outbound, coordinate with the supervisor, and drive productivity through effective processes.

The role requires a degree in Logistics or related field, at least three years of team leadership experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communication skills.

• Experience with reading and managing P&L is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of SLAs for existing and new customers.
• Review monthly operations performance with customers.

• Supervise daily operations to meet SLA and KPI targets.
• Oversee picking, replenishment, and dispatch accuracy.

Responsibilities

• To ensure delivery of key SLA’s with customers in a fast growing sector, including managing/implementing operations for existing and new customers in accordance with the DSC demands
• Reviews monthly operational performance with customers and provide solutions to drive operational excellence
• Build a strong win-win relationship with customers, so as to ensure customer retention and development of solutions to grow existing businesses
• Frequently review, align and keep immediate Superior updated with information on operational issues and performance indices, such as customer profile, Space Management, Resources management, Operating procedures, and P&L status
• Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and met according to the customer’s SLA
• Continually review and improve business processes, to improve productivity and add value to DHL services
• Manage the effective implementation and use of the appropriate technology in all sections of the service chain, to enhance service and improve productivity
• Develop a high performance service culture within the functional team. Plan, organize, and direct in an efficient and effective manner
• To supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve picking, replenishment and dispatch standards and defined outcomes for its responsibility area/shift.
• To ensure outbound / Inbound operations are running smoothly by performing the Monitor task releasing of shipments, Monitor case and pallet picking, Loading and dispatch of shipments,
• Takeover the role of the Supervisor whenever the Supervisor is not around.

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or any related courses
• Min 3 years of experience in overseeing an operational functional team
• Experience in reading and managing Profit & Loss statement would be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Must be highly motivated and able to supervise headcount of more than 100, and manage relationships with all levels of staff and customer
• Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
