Vast Lighting seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing, and dispatching materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business admin, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of warehouse operations experience.
  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse documentation.
  • Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S, and warehouse safety.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word; ERP experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, -picking, issuing, and dispatching of materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and proper storage of materials.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and ensure that all transactions are properly documented.
  • Lead and assign tasks to warehouse personnel based on daily operational requirements.
  • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO implementation when applicable.
  • Conduct and monitor regular inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, QA/QC, Accounting, and other departments regarding material requirements and discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling, identification, segregation, and storage of materials.
  • Monitor warehouse cleanliness, organization, 5S, and safety compliance.
  • Ensure that warehouse personnel properly use required PPE and safety equipment.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, and other warehouse incidents.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment, tools, and facilities and report maintenance or repair requirements.
  • Prepare and submit warehouse reports, inventory reports, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable quality and safety standards.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse documentation.
  • Knowledge of receiving, storage, material issuance, dispatch, and inventory control procedures.
  • Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S, and basic warehouse safety practices.
  • Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
  • Good leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working in a warehouse environment.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
