Job description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who will lead day-to-day warehouse operations while ensuring high inventory accuracy, efficient stock management, timely order fulfillment, and strong team performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader with strong experience in inventory management and control, who can translate operational data into action, improve warehouse processes, and ensure that physical inventory and system records remain accurate and aligned.

Experience with SAP, ERP, WMS, or other warehouse/inventory management systems is an advantage.

What You'll Do

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Lead the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all warehouse activities.

• Oversee end-to-end inventory management and stock control, including receiving, storage, stock movement, picking, checking, packing, and physical inventory activities.

• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective controls, regular cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and reconciliation of stock records.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure proper stock identification, storage, handling, movement, and rotation.

• Monitor stock movements and ensure that all inventory transactions are properly and accurately recorded.

• Maintain effective controls to minimize stock variances, losses, damages, and inventory discrepancies.

• Work closely with relevant departments to resolve inventory and stock-related issues.

• Ensure warehouse activities and system records are properly aligned.

Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment

• Manage daily warehouse work plans and allocate manpower and resources based on operational requirements.

• Oversee picking, tagging, checking, and packing activities to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

• Monitor warehouse productivity, order fulfillment, turnaround time, and operational performance.

• Identify bottlenecks and process gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Optimize manpower, warehouse space, equipment, and other resources to improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure operational equipment and facilities are properly checked and ready for daily operations.

• Review warehouse performance and provide recommendations to Management for operational improvement.

Systems & Data Management

• Ensure proper utilization of SAP, ERP, WMS, or other warehouse and inventory management systems.

• Ensure physical warehouse transactions are accurately reflected in the system.

• Monitor system and physical inventory variances and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.

• Utilize warehouse and inventory data to identify trends, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Work with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant teams to resolve inventory and system-related concerns.

• Support process improvements, automation, and system enhancements that can improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to build a productive, disciplined, and accountable work environment.

• Set clear expectations and monitor individual and team performance.

• Develop supervisory capabilities within the team and prepare employees for greater responsibilities.

• Conduct workplace induction and operational training for warehouse employees.

• Support performance reviews and skills development initiatives.

• Foster teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and open communication.

• Ensure proper monitoring of employee attendance and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and warehouse safety standards.

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure employees are properly trained in safe work practices.

• Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections and compliance audits.

• Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate measures to eliminate or minimize risks.

• Ensure warehouse equipment, facilities, and structures are properly maintained and safe for use.

• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Promote a proactive safety culture across the warehouse.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, manpower utilization, order fulfillment, and operating efficiency.

• Analyze operational and inventory data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions and monitor their effectiveness.

• Recommend improvements to warehouse processes, controls, systems, and workflows.

• Promote efficient use of resources and support sustainability initiatives within warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with strong hands-on experience in inventory management and control.

• Proven experience in inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, physical inventory, stock movement, and inventory discrepancy resolution.

• Experience managing high-volume warehouse operations and large warehouse teams is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse productivity management.

• Experience analyzing inventory and warehouse data and translating findings into operational improvements.

• Experience using SAP, ERP, WMS, or other warehouse/inventory management systems is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, compliance, and operational controls.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant productivity tools.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and highly operational environment.
