Job summary

Based on Scientia Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager responsible for overseeing a specific assigned warehouse and inventory control, ensuring safe storage, accurate documentation, and efficient operations.

The role requires at least three years in warehouse or facilities management, familiarity with safety and quality standards, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will manage stock layouts, coordinate purchasing, and monitor variances to minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent analytical and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Must be a graduate of any 4-year related course.
• Must have at least three (3) years working experience in warehouse or facilities management, preferably including handling of palletized goods and chemicals.
• Must be knowledgeable in safety and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic processes for safekeeping, issuing, releasing, checking, receiving and monitoring warehouse documents and materials.
• Accounts for prompt return of delivery receipts for archive filing and ensures serial numbers are properly documented and encoded.
• Ensures compliance with safety and security standards for the facility, goods and personnel.
• Plans and manages stock layout design and documentation for safe, durable, accessible goods handling.
• Develops and implements inventory accuracy checks based on counts and system records.
• Forecasts, plans and adjusts stock levels according to demand forecast or real-time movements to maintain appropriate stock.
• Prepares and/or cancels purchase orders as needed.
• Performs quality checks on products and coordinates returns processing.
• Evaluates warranty claims and coordinates with head for timely action.
• Monitors inventory variances and implements corrective actions to reduce losses.
• Handles conversion requirements of products as needed.
• Monitors project requirements and ensures timely delivery of requests.
• Coordinates supplier selection and negotiates best deals for approval.

Job description

Accountable for the specific assigned warehouse and inventory management by establishing and developing strategic processes in planning and execution, particularly the safe movement and storage of products, materials, tools and equipment and proper utilization of all warehouse and storage facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develops and implements strategic processes and guidelines in safekeeping, issuing, releasing, checking, receiving and monitoring of warehouse related documents, materials, products, tools, repair kits and equipment within the facility.
2. Accountable for prompt return of delivery receipts for archive filing and ensures that serial numbers of released products are properly documented and encoded.
3. Ensures compliance and practice of safety and security standards for the facility, goods and personnel.
4. Plans and manages stock layout design and documentation to ensure safety and durability of goods, ease of handling and accessibility of goods appropriate for the needs of the company and clients.
5. Develops and implements processes to check inventory accuracy based on actual counts and system records.
6. Accountable for the forecasting, planning and adjustment of stock levels according to demand forecast or real time product movements to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
7. Accountable for preparation and/or cancellation of purchase orders.
8. Accountable for quality checking of all products and ensuring prompt processing of returns.
9. Evaluates warranty claims and coordinates them to immediate head in a timely manner.
10. Monitors inventory variances, provides corrective actions and develops loss prevention procedures.
11. Accountable for processing conversion requirements of all products as needed.
12. Monitors project requirements and other requests and acts on them to satisfy requirements within time constraints.
13. Ensures supplier selection process is followed and coordinates with authorized personnel regarding the best deals acquired for approval.
