Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Head of Corporate Strategy & Investments to lead the Strategic Finance Group in BGC, Taguig. The role focuses on delivering data-driven strategic recommendations aligned with shareholder value and integrated into ICAAP, portfolio strategy, and risk appetite frameworks.

You will oversee annual strategic planning, economic outlooks, and evaluation of capital investments, partnerships, and AI-driven market intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience with AI-driven market intelligence tools and data analytics.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and business case development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual strategic planning processes, facilitating strategy workshops with senior management, and producing the bank's 3–5-year strategic plan for Board approval.
• Produce quarterly or semi-annual industry and sectoral economic and scenario-based outlooks.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, fintech collaborations, and review major capital investments.
• Produce competitive intelligence reports through gathered insights on industry trends, regulatory developments, technology disruptions, and competitors.
