Job summary

Sun Life Canada is seeking a Learning Facilitator to deliver learner-centric training for associates across Canadian Operations, using in-class and remote delivery.

You will adapt delivery to learner needs, manage groups, and model Sun Life values while supporting program objectives. This role requires strong facilitation and collaboration with internal partners to continuously improve curricula.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a facilitation role.
• College diploma or university degree.
• Certification in adult education preferred.
• Two to five years of contact centre training experience is an asset.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset; however, French is required in some areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven virtual facilitation skills.
• Experience with adult learning theory and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learner-centric training for multiple audiences across locations.
• Lead groups of up to 20 learners per session.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and motivation aligned with adult learning.
• Assess learner performance and document knowledge transfer.
• Plan learning progress updates with leaders.
• Collaborate with Design to improve curricula and create facilitator guides.
• Mentor less-tenured facilitators.
• Coordinate all aspects of learning delivery.
