Job summary

Sun Life Financial seeks an Executive leader to drive Operational Learning, Quality, and Knowledge Management across Canada and Asia. You will lead a large, distributed team, leverage AI-enabled insights, and partner with senior leaders to improve time-to-proficiency, productivity, and customer outcomes.

The role focuses on building a modern learning ecosystem, embedding readiness for change, and delivering measurable performance improvements at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in large, complex operations.
• Proven success transforming learning, quality, or performance functions at scale.
• Experience leading distributed global teams.
• Strong partnership with senior Operations and Technology leaders.
• Experience in regulated financial services is an asset.
• Deep expertise in modern learning systems, quality models, analytics, and AI-enabled performance insights.
• Strong ability to translate data into frontline-ready actions.
• Executive presence with structured communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute vision, roadmap, and operating model for OLP, quality, and knowledge management.
• Lead a large, distributed organization supporting Canada-based and global delivery Operations.
• Build a data-driven, outcomes-focused culture grounded in results.
• Partner with Operations leaders to diagnose performance gaps and enable interventions.
• Co-own time-to-proficiency and ensure quick productivity and quality improvements.
• Monitor attrition, productivity, and quality trends to guide enablement strategies.
• Ensure readiness for operational change and new products/tools.
• Evolve knowledge management and digital enablement across the enterprise.
