Job summary

Jhpiego is seeking an M&E Officer for the Viral Hepatitis Program to support data-driven decisions through thorough data analysis and interpretation. The role involves rolling out OHASIS 2.0, monitoring sites, and mentoring teams across VH facilities.

The incumbent will also contribute to NHSSS activities with the Epidemiology Bureau, ensuring robust VH data collection and analysis. Strong coordination and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Biostatistics.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in infectious diseases programs, public health, particularly Viral Hepatitis, HIV/STI.
• Experience with OHASIS 2.0 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Viral Hepatitis data collection across facilities in OHASIS 2.0
• Setup of dedicated database in STEP and StITCH project
• Conduct the consolidation of data and implementation reports from VH facilities associated with the STEP and StITCH project
• Ensure generated reports to inform decision‑making by stakeholder
• Organize and conduct monitoring meetings to validate data and discuss project progress
• Provide regular feedback reports to the Program Manager, for collaboration, stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations to aid decision‑making
• Prepare consolidated reports on project achievements (physical and financial) for submission to relevant authorities
• Other tasks, as assigned by the Program Manager
