Job summary

Jhpiego Inc. in the Philippines seeks an M&E Officer for the Viral Hepatitis Program to support data-driven decisions, reporting to the Program Manager, Viral Hepatitis, and ensuring accurate data collection across facilities using OHASIS 2.0, STEP, and StITCH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences or biostatistics and at least 3–5 years in infectious diseases/public health programs.
• Experience with viral hepatitis, HIV/STI programs is highly desirable.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with ability to work with OHASIS 2.0 or similar systems.
• Experience coordinating with the Department of Health and local government units.
• Proven training/mentorship and health systems strengthening capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Viral Hepatitis data collection across facilities in OHASIS 2.0.
• Set up dedicated database in STEP and StITCH projects.
• Consolidate data and prepare reports for VH facilities related to STEP and StITCH.
• Generate reports to inform stakeholder decision-making.
• Organize monitoring meetings to validate data and discuss progress.
• Provide regular feedback to the Program Manager and stakeholders.
• Prepare consolidated reports on project achievements for authorities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.
