Qualifications

  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures or ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in property management software (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the residential community, including maintenance, security, landscaping and waste management.
  • Manage and supervise village staff, including maintenance personnel, security guards and administrative support.
  • Collect rental payments, manage lease agreements and handle tenant communications regarding renewals and concerns.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate repairs and improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of village operations, expenses and resident interactions.
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints and resolve disputes.
  • Prepare budgets and manage village operating expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes.
  • Organise community events to foster resident relations and engagement.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs and upgrades.
  • Report to senior management on village performance and occupancy.

About the role

ANABUKI PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is seeking a Village Manager to oversee the operations and management of our residential community in Talisay, Batangas. This is a full-time position based on-site at our property location. As Village Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance and administration of the village, ensuring a high standard of living for all residents whilst maintaining the property's value and operational efficiency. This role is strategically important to our company, as the Village Manager serves as the key point of contact between the property owner, residents and our management team, directly impacting resident satisfaction and community success.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the residential community, including maintenance, security, landscaping and waste management
  • Manage and supervise village staff, including maintenance personnel, security guards and administrative support, ensuring high performance and professional conduct
  • Collect rental payments, manage lease agreements and handle tenant communications regarding lease renewals and concerns
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and coordinate necessary repairs and improvements
  • Maintain detailed records of all village operations, expenses, maintenance activities and resident interactions
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints and concerns, resolving disputes and ensuring satisfactory service delivery
  • Prepare budgets and manage village operating expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, building codes and property management standards
  • Organise and facilitate community events and activities to foster positive resident relations and community engagement
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance and facility upgrades
  • Report regularly to senior management on village performance, occupancy rates and operational matters
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in residential property management or village management, preferably managing communities of similar size and scope
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine residential leasing practices, tenant laws and property management regulations
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and supervising a team of staff members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, staff and senior management
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, expense management and financial reporting
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle resident conflicts and operational challenges professionally
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and service
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures, or the ability to quickly learn and oversee such matters
  • Proficiency in computer systems and property management software (preferred)
  • Willingness to be available for emergency situations and maintenance issues as required
  • A professional demeanour and strong commitment to customer service excellence
