Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking detail-oriented reviewers to assess first-person video clips for AI training. You will verify privacy, consent, and content guidelines, ensuring footage meets project specs.
Responsibilities include reviewing long and short clips, logging decisions, and adding concise notes. A calm, discreet workspace and the ability to handle sensitive material are required. Prior experience in review roles is helpful, but no degree or moderation experience is strictly
Job Description
Contributors film first-person video of everyday hands-on activities — in homes, workshops, and places of work — to train AI that understands the physical world. Every clip is reviewed before it enters the dataset.
Reviewers are that control point. You confirm nobody’s privacy was compromised, that no sensitive content slipped through, and that the footage meets spec. This is judgment work, and you are measured on accuracy rather than speed.
Opens the next clip in the review queue.
Watches the full clip with audio on. Skimming is not acceptable.
Works through the checklist below, flagging any issue with a timestamp.
Records a decision: accept, reject with a reason code, or escape.
Adds a short note where the reason is not obvious from the code alone.
Clips run from 5 minutes to 2 hours, so a shift mixes short and long reviews.
Privacy and consent
People. Every adult who appears or is heard must be named on the consent form filed with the clip. Flag anyone who is not — including bystanders, customers, and coworkers who wander into frame.
Minors. Any child on camera is a reject unless the clip carries documented pre-approval and guardian consent.
Personal information. Addresses, mail, documents, medical paperwork, ID badges, and screens showing banking, passwords, messages, or account details.
Commercial and confidential material. In a workplace, also flag customer or employee records, invoices, pricing, alarm or door codes, and anything that looks like a trade secret. The business owner’s consent to filming does not cover a third party’s data.
Rooms and situations. No bathrooms or changing areas, no bedrooms with anyone undressed, no medical or personal-care footage.
Judgment call. Anything that would embarrass or expose a person in the space, even where no specific rule covers it.
Sensitive content
Nudity, sexual or intimate content.
Violence, injury, or cruelty toward people or animals.
Illegal activity, unsafe weapon handling, or drug use.
Anything distressing enough that a reasonable person would not want it in a training set.
You are not asked to grade severity. Flag it, escape, move on.
Priority escalation. If a clip appears to involve a minor in a sexual context, or apparent abuse of any person, stop watching immediately. Do not download, copy, screenshot, or share it, and do not discuss it with other reviewers. Escalate on the priority path; it routes to the trust and safety team the same day.
Capture quality
Matches the current project requirements. Specs differ by project and change over time. Check the brief attached to the clip and use its figures wherever they differ from the defaults below.
Hands in frame at least 90% of the clip, actively handling objects at least 60%.
One continuous take — no cuts and no pausing mid-task.
Between 5 minutes and 2 hours long.
Landscape orientation, 1080p at 30 fps or better.
Steady camera, even lighting, work area in view.
Natural pace — no staging and no actions repeated for the camera.
The activity matches what the contributor tagged it as.
Recording your decision
Accept. Meets every requirement above.
Reject with a reason code. A quality miss the contributor can fix. Add the timestamp so they know what to redo.
Escalate. Privacy or sensitive content, unclear consent, or anything you are unsure about.
Escalating something that turns out fine is never held against you. Approving something that should have been escalated is the error that matters.
Sustained attention across long clips, and consistent judgment day to day.
Enough written English to log clear notes. Additional languages are valuable — footage comes from six continents with spoken narration.
Willingness to escape rather than guess on ambiguous cases.
Discretion. This footage shows the inside of real homes and workplaces.
Comfortable reviewing occasional unpleasant or sensitive material.
No degree or prior moderation experience required.
Download speed of at least 25 Mbps, with 50 Mbps or better recommended. Clips are 1080p and run up to 2 hours.
Upload of at least 5 Mbps and a stable, low-latency connection. Mobile tethering and satellite are not suitable.
Wired where possible. Wi-Fi is acceptable if it holds a steady speed through a full shift.
Test during your actual shift hours, not at a quiet time of day. Bandwidth shared with others in the building is the usual cause of a connection that passes a test and then fails in use.
A workstation that plays 1080p smoothly in-browser, with a screen large enough to spot detail such as text on a document or a screen in the background.
Buffering is never a reason to skip part of a clip. If your connection cannot carry a full clip, raise it rather than reviewing around it.
Paid training with worked examples of accept, reject, and escape decisions.
A calibration set before you join the live queue. You need to hit an agreement threshold to start.
Gold-standard clips seeded into the queue on an ongoing basis.
Regular audits of your decisions, delivered as feedback rather than penalties.
An NDA is signed before your first clip.
All review happens in the provided tool. No downloading, copying, screenshotting, screen recording, or re-sharing.
No personal devices or phones at the workstation, and no reviewing in public or shared spaces.
A private work area where your screen is not visible to anyone else.
Never describe or discuss specific footage outside the escalation channel.
Access is logged and audited.
