Zinca Advisory is seeking a senior-level advisory professional to lead buy-side and sell-side engagements, manage day-to-day delivery, and serve as the principal client contact. The role emphasizes FDD/VDD, financial analysis, and teamwork with US engagement leads.
Requirements include CA/CPA/CFA/MBA or PGDM in Finance, 7–10 years in a similar role, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills. AI tools curiosity and data analytics proficiency are valued.
1. Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, managing day-to-day delivery and serving as a principal point of contact with client personnel.
2. Draft and review tailored FDD / VDD reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, believability of management’s budget, operational insights, indebtedness considerations, and post-transaction working capital analysis
3. Develop operational insights using data and analytics to identify drivers of profitability and evaluate key risks and opportunities
4. Build sector expertise across multiple industries and develop the firm’s industry capability
5. Project management including scoping, effort estimation, work planning and staffing, quality review, progress review, and team guidance
6. Manage team members (Associates and Senior Associates) on engagements, reviewing their work and coaching them
7. People management of 3-5 team members, including goals and KPIs, development roadmap, training and coaching, and performance assessment
8. Lead diligence discussions with client and target management
9. Lead proposal development and pitch preparation; partner with US engagement leads on scoping, fee estimation, and client conversion.
10. Learn and deploy new-age technologies to enhance insights and efficiency on engagements (our tech stack includes AI platforms, Alteryx, PowerQuery, PowerBI, etc.)
11. Establish strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients
Basic Qualifications:
Qualifications: CA / CPA / CFA / Master’s / MBA or PGDM in Finance or Accounting.
Experience: The candidate must have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a professional services firm. FDD experience is a must.
Preferred Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial skills (US GAAP and IFRS)
2. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
3. Excellent written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
4. Highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic, and a demonstrated ability and desire to work cooperatively with team members and client professionals
5. Strong analytical abilities; knowledge of data analytics tools is an added advantage
6. Curiosity about and willingness to adopt AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial analysis and client deliverables
7. Ability to present findings clearly to US-based clients in written and verbal form; comfortable with some overlap with Client’s business hours as needed
8. Personal drive to deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight deal timelines
9. Intellectual curiosity with the ability to ask the right questions and go beyond the numbers
10. Prior experience in project scoping, effort estimation, work planning, team handling, staffing, and performance management
11. High problem-solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity
