Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior Financial Due Diligence professional to lead complex FDD engagements with global deal teams from planning through delivery. You will mentor talent and shape high-impact transaction insights in a collaborative environment.

The role requires CA or MBA qualification with 7–10 years FDD experience, strong buy-side/sell-side expertise, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint capability to produce actionable analyses.

Qualifications

• Strong FDD expertise across buy-side and sell-side deals.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review FDD engagements from planning to delivery.
• Prepare and review databooks, workbooks and analyses.
• Manage data room processes and data requests.
• Draft FDD reports including QofE and financial summaries.
• Prepare management materials and participate in meetings.
• Perform debt, net working capital and related analyses.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with onshore deal teams.
• Apply analytics tools to generate insights.

The client is a growing Shared Service providing transaction advisory and financial due diligence support across a broad range of engagements and geographies. Job Description

• Lead and review financial due diligence engagements from planning through delivery.
• Prepare and review transaction databooks, workbooks, and supporting analyses.
• Manage document requests, data collection, and data room processes.
• Draft and review key due diligence report sections, including Quality of Earnings and financial summaries.
• Prepare management discussion materials and participate in management meetings and calls.
• Perform debt, debt-like, net working capital, and other transaction-related analyses.
• Collaborate with onshore stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
• Leverage technology tools and analytical techniques to generate actionable insights.

The Successful Applicant

• CA or MBA qualified with 7-10 years of Financial Due Diligence experience in a Big 4 or similar Transaction Advisory environment.
• Strong FDD expertise across buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings, due diligence reporting, financial analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage engagements, and collaborate effectively with onshore deal teams.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and commercial acumen, with advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• M&A experience, exposure to Alteryx/Power BI, and industry or international transaction exposure are advantageous but not essential.
