Job summary

Zinca Advisory in the Philippines seeks a finance professional to support buy-side and sell-side advisory engagements. You will analyze trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, and prepare data books to project standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and strong accounting knowledge. You will develop sector expertise, work with senior teams, and leverage AI tools to enhance insights and deliverables for clients.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CFA/MBA or PGDM in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• FDD experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with team and clients.
• Analytical abilities; data analytics tools advantageous.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools for insights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows).
• Prepare data books per firm standards and project requirements.
• Identify key issues and carry out relevant financial analysis.
• Highlight unusual trends and frame questions for management.
• Take ownership of defined work streams reporting to Senior Associate or VP.
• Contribute to Quality of Earnings (QofE) analysis including EBITDA normalization.
• Write sections of an FDD / VDD report.
• Develop operational insights using data and analytics to identify drivers of profitability.
• Begin developing sector expertise aligned to the engagement portfolio.
• Learn and deploy AI tools to enhance insights and efficiency (AI platforms, Alteryx, PowerQuery, PowerBI).
• Other ad-hoc pre-acquisition and post-acquisition due diligence tasks.
• Establish strong professional relationships with internal/external clients.

• Prepare data books inaccordance with firm and professional standards and in accordancewith the requirements of the project
• Identify key issues andcarry out relevant financial analysis
• Highlight unusualtrends and observations, and frame questions formanagement
• Take ownership ofdefined work streams or sections of larger engagements, reportingto a Senior Associate or VP
• Contribute to Qualityof Earnings (QofE) analysis, including EBITDA normalization,identification of one-time and non-recurring items, andsupporting commentary
• Write sections of anFDD / VDD report
• Develop operationalinsights using data and analytics to identify drivers ofprofitability and evaluate key risks and opportunities
• Begin developing sectorexpertise (e.g., industrial, SaaS, healthcare, etc.) aligned tothe engagement portfolio
• Learn and deploynew-age technologies to enhance insights and efficiency onengagements (our tech stack includes AI platforms, Alteryx,PowerQuery, PowerBI, etc.)
• Other ad-hocpre-acquisition and post-acquisition due diligence supporttasks
• Establish strongprofessional relationships with internal / externalclients

Requirements

• Qualifications: CA /CPA / CFA / Master’s / MBA or PGDM in Finance orAccounting
• Experience: Thecandidate must have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in asimilar role in a professional services firm. FDD experience ispreferred.

• 3. Excellent written /verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

• 7. Ability to presentfindings clearly to US-based clients in written and verbal form;comfortable with some overlap with Client’s business hours asneeded
