Qualifications

• 5+ years of vendor management and sourcing experience, with team lead or managerial exposure.
• Strong understanding of vendor performance management, capacity planning, and vendor lifecycle.

• Good stakeholder management and negotiation abilities across teams and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Lead overall workforce vendor management across vendor performance, capacity, and acquisition to support business requirements.
• Establish vendor performance standards and review performance trends to identify gaps, risks, and improvement priorities.
• Drive improvement plans for underperforming vendors, working with the team and relevant stakeholders to address root causes and ensure sustainable improvement.
• Assess vendor capacity and portfolio gaps, and lead vendor sourcing, evaluation, selection, and onboarding to secure sufficient capacity for business needs.
• Develop vendor portfolio strategies based on performance, capacity, operational requirements, and business growth.
• Work closely with Commercial, Operations, and other stakeholders on vendor selection, capacity planning, and vendor-related decisions.
• Lead and develop the Vendor Performance and Acquisition team, set priorities, monitor outcomes, and support key vendor issues and escalations.
• Identify opportunities to improve vendor management processes, governance, and ways of working.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in vendor management, sourcing, logistics, operations, workforce management, or related fields, with experience in a team lead or managerial role preferred.
• Strong understanding of vendor performance management, capacity planning, sourcing, and vendor lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate performance and operational data into actions and decisions.
• Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience working across internal teams and external partners.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and drive issues through to resolution.
• Experience in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
