OpsArmy Careers seeks an experienced US Tax Accountant (CPA/EA preferred) to provide Level 2 support for complex US tax, accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping inquiries. The role emphasizes independent judgment and clear client communication.

The ideal candidate handles Form 1040, Schedule C, Form 1120-S, quarterly estimates, and S corporation compensation, researches tax questions, and explains concepts to clients, using Zendesk and other platforms.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with US individual and small business taxation.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Experience handling tax notices and complex inquiries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated and directly assigned accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, account reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist clients with: Form 1040, Schedule C, Form 1120-S, quarterly estimated tax, and S Corporation compensation.
• Communicate technical findings clearly via Zendesk and scheduled calls.
• Explain tax concepts and next steps to clients in accessible language.
