Job summary

Cyberbacker Inc. is seeking an experienced US Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to own full-service US payroll, tax compliance, and basic HR administration for a small workforce managed from the Philippines.

You will execute semi-monthly/bi-weekly payroll, handle tax withholdings and filings, onboarding/offboarding, and reporting while ensuring compliance with FLSA and state laws. Preference given to CPP/FPC or platform experience (Gusto/ADP).

Qualifications

• Proven US payroll management experience with full-cycle processing.
• Strong working knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Experience in payroll compliance and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with US labor standards and benefits administration recommended.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end US payroll processing for a small workforce.
• Handle federal, state, and local tax withholdings and filings.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding with payroll/tax setup for new hires and terminations.
• Manage workers’ comp, unemployment insurance, and annual audits as needed.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end payroll reports (W-2s, 941s, 940s).
• Maintain compliance with wage and hour laws and data privacy standards.
